Dialogue at Canon’s office:

Agent: “Here you go, ma’m.”
Me: *gets the camera and puts it inside my bag while the agent was shuffling some paperwork*
Me: *looks expectantly at the agent*
Agent: “Okay na po, ma’m.”
Me: “Don’t I have to pay for it?”
Agent: “Wala naman pong nakalagay na amount sa delivery receipt.” (There’s nothing indicated in the delivery receipt)
Me: “Didn’t you replace any parts?”
Agent: “We did, but the CCD…..”
Me: *stopped paying attention after realizing I didn’t have to shell out Php6,000 afterall*
Me: “Okay, thanks!” *walks away quickly before they change their minds or realize their mistake*

Nyahahaha.

But seriously, I think my cammy cursed my phone =_=;;

After Trizha got off the jeep in Frisco, I turned forward. I slung my handbag over my shoulder, in case somebody thought it’d be fun to grab it as they go down. I get this nagging feeling of something. I switch my bag to the other shoulder.

Ten minutes after, I decided to check the time on my phone. It wasn’t there.

The last I saw it was at Kebab’s, when Khaye texted. I may have left it on the table. Oh well. Nothing I can do about that.

When I got home, I went online to work. Trizha came on line and grumbled: Her wallet got lost.

I didn’t forget my phone in Kebab. Somebody worked some magic.

Well, whoever has my phone and Trizha’s wallet, enjoy your loot. Those items were well taken care of, and I hope you cherish it as much as we did.

The obvious question is WHY?

We are young and a little crazy. We don’t believe life must be lived according to a socially accepted timeline. Most of all, our kids still like us and we are trying to avoid middle school!

This a chance for us to grow as a family. An opportunity for the children to grow into adults who will give more to the world than they take from it.

This trek is a celebration of our family. We are not in search of the elusive answers to life’s questions. We are trying to keep a good thing going. And going…and going…and going.

Discovered this family site today. They’re a family of four, on a round the world trip for a year. I just died of envy.

Doesn’t help that their photos are simply deeeeh-vine.

Not that I take these things seriously, but it gives me hope, particularly on my plans for this year. *crosses fingers*

…seduction, to me, isn’t making someone do what they don’t want to do. Seduction is enticing someone into doing what they secretly want to do already.

Someone over at RBJ started a thread on how to order wine without looking like an asshole. I’m a bit lazy when it comes to clicking outside links, so it wasn’t until today that I discovered the wonderful world of The Waiter.
