It’s not often that I let go. I can be a control freak, even when I’m drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Liquor hardly ever taste good to me, but surprisingly, that evening everything tasted so good. It was great to throw caution in the wind and just drink. Being drunk gave me reason (or excuse) to act stupidly.
But I didn’t. Instead I went out, got some fresh air and drank a liter of water.
It was okay to imbibe, I think. Once in a while.

This is posting in reaction to the news bit about organizations who felt offended by the condom advertisements in the Philippines.
Do you know why they’re making condom commercials geared for young people? Because they engage in pre-marital sex. Some may be enticed to try out the product, but even before condom commercials and print ads came out, teenagers were already engaging in pre-marital sex.
These commercials are encouraging them to practice safe sex. Or would you rather they become teenage parents? Oh yeah, you’d like that.
Because you are also against the advertisements about condoms being used for family planning.
You can’t stop people from having sex. Just because you’ve probably haven’t done it for a gazillion years, doesn’t mean people will stop just because you told them to stop. And do you really think the Philippines need a bigger population? Wake up and smell the estero, darling.

Anna L has the cutest handwriting and scribbles. Anybody who does handwriting analysis here?
People have always complained about my atrocious handwriting. They have complained and have made fun of it. I know I don’t have the best handwriting, but at least I don’t have to put down other people’s writing just so I can feel good about myself, right?
I’m interested to see your handwriting as well!
On a piece of paper, write and answer the following and then, take a picture/scan it –

I just realized that I should be thankful that I met you.
If we hadn’t met and became friends, I might have never thought to click on that “Create your own Geocities Website” icon. I might never developed my love and hate relationship with HTML.
If I hadn’t met you over 10 years ago, I might never have started keeping an online journal. I might never even thought about blogging.
If I hadn’t met you then, my life might not have fallen into place.
Find out what the drama is all about over at My Internet Lifestyle.

Ah yes, another year, another round of goals. Making my travel goals back in 2006 made me motivated to work hard at achieving them. The uncertainties of 2007 (and the stagerring amount of bills) made me neglect my goals. I’m hoping 2008 would be more certain and less erm, impulsive. (My English fails me!)
- Travel to four out of the six destinations in my travel list for 2008. It’s about time I started seeing more of the Philippines, no?
- Make the most out of my gym membership. I have 4 more months in my membership, and since I’m paying an insane amount of money on it, I might as well get my money’s worth. Even if it’s just to use the steam room for my hot oil treatment.
- Focus on updating my blogs. ALL of them. I currently have four Wordpress installations, two of which I am aiming to monetize. I have two more I need to work on. Money! I need money!
- Manage my Pinky St dolls better. Pinkies are turning into a good investment for me, but I still need to be selective on which ones to sell, which ones to open, and WHEN to sell them.
- Eat out less. Most of my money go to restaurants and cafes. A terrible habit, I know. Though I don’t want to deprive myself, spending less money on the food bill will greatly help to putting money into my travel and Pinky fund. Besides, manga prices are rising.
- Throw out unecessary junk and refrain from getting more. I have WAY too many things that I don’t even use or need. I need to clean out my closet and boko shelves.
- Give out or sell books. In relation to my previous goal, I have several books that I don’t read anymore. E-baying them didn’t really work, but I shall try again. If not, I’ll put them up on BookMooch. If still unsucessful, I’ll just donate them.
Hmmm, this looks more like a to-do list than a list of goals. Lol. In any case, good luck to all of us!
