Fifty times random August 25
This is part of RBJ’s August Collaboration Project. I’m also taking this opportunity to mix in 7 weird things about me, that Kyameel wanted to know. You decide which ones are weird
- I compose blog entries, read blog feeds and check counter stats in Opera.
- I check my mail, Google Analytics and flickr on Firefox.
- I keep my Internet Explorer just so I can check the websites I design. Though that doesn’t happen very often (I’ve somehow stopped caring about people who still use IE).
- I like going to the beach, but I don’t like getting my feet wet unless I plan on swimming.
I have a thing for checkered pants.- I have a very diverse taste in music. My MP3 collection includes songs from the Putomayo albums, Guns n’ Roses, Nirvana, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Madonna and David Benoit.
- Despite having over a thousand songs in my archive, right now I am only listening to about 10. The same songs, over and over.
- When I first got my camera, one of the first 120 shots were of a masturbating monkey.
- Nine is my number. I’m not too sure if I should consider it as my lucky or unlucky number, but I know it’s MY number.
- One of my goals is to make my own WP theme.
- In between new chapters of the mangas I read, I turn to fan fiction to get my fix.
- I only collect manga I love. Of course, to do this, I have to read several volumes of the manga before buying them.
- I still hand-code HTML. It’s therapeautic.
- Growing up, my family never really discuss things with me because I was “too young to understand.” As a result, I stopped asking questions, and most of the time have no idea what’s going on.
- As much as I would like to think that money doesn’t equate to happiness and contentment, there are still plenty of things I want to do that sadly, involves spending a fair amount of money.
- I work not to live, but to have money to pay for my vices.
I think I have about 16 Pinkies on pre-order. And there are new ones coming in every couple of months. This hobby is killing me.- Well, I like to think of them as investments. Yeah.
- It takes me a minimum of 20 minutes to wake up. I would usually stare off into space or daydream before getting out of bed.
- I’m not big on breakfast. I like breakfast food, but when I get up, I’d use the computer for about an hour (or more) before getting something to eat.
- I sometimes suddenly burst out into song.
- I know when I’m on the brink and in need of a break when I willingly subject myself to listen to sappy love songs. And sing along with them. Out loud.
- I can sing. Badly.
- There was a time where I can blog about one event in 3 seperate blogs, each one different from the other.
- Now, it’d take me days (even a year) before I can muster up enough motivation to blog about certain things.
- I am a terribly shy person.
- But if I’m with people I know and am comfortable with, I can be really loud and chatty.
- I believe that everything happens for a reason.
- I tend to go with the flow and accept things as they come, rather than fight it. It has worked to my advantage so far.
- I am a baptised Catholic since infancy, but I’m no longer practising the religion.
- But that doesn’t mean I’ve totally forgotten or ignore the teachings.
I have three sarongs already, but I’m still on the lookout for that perfect sarong.- I feel so empty without a camera in my life.
- I don’t like reading manuals. I usually just plow ahead and learn by doing. Of course, it sometimes end up in disaster and I end up reading the manual to remedy the situation.
- I’ve always hated hospitals, but after getting confined last year, I’ve learned that it’s not so bad. As long as they’re not cutting me up, I’ll be fine.
- Despite being jabbed with a needle several times last year for countless blood tests, I STILL don’t know what my blood type is.
- My favorite song is Sting’s When we Dance.
- Istumo Gawa Ni by Daisuke Kirii is a close second. It is Morinozuka Takasi’s character song in the Ouran High School Host Club OST.
- I am using a dinosaur mobile phone. It’s a Nokia 8250, that’s just 3 drops away from death. I want to upgrade to a Sony Ericsson K800, but I figured I needed a camera more.
- I hardly use my phone anyway. A Php300 load can sometimes stretch for 2 months.
- The Free Speech box on the upper right of the blog are for one-liner entries so I don’t clutter up my blog. It usually reflects what I’m feeling towards a certain issue at the moment. Can you guess what the issue of today’s Free Speech entry is for?
- Brian Kinney is my hero.
- After Brian, Emmett and Ted are tied in second place for my favorite QAF characters. Michael can be so annoying.
- My latest favorite TV show is Little Britain. It’s so offensive it’s fun.
- I love Posh & Becks. Victoria was my favorite Spice Girl, so I didn’t mind that David married her.
My friend are a part of my family.- As much as I love building up my immune system by making tusok-tusok the fishballs, I hardly ever eat street foods, specially if I’m alone. I figured if I’m going to get some virus from eating dirty street food, I might as well take somebody down with me.
- I love getting lost and I love walking. Unfortunately, getting lost when I’m in a rush to get somewhere during a hot day is something I don’t relish.
- Amidst complaints about aching muscles and buckets of sweat pouring out of every pore in my body, I actually enjoy hiking and clambering up rocks and boulders.
- I love this video.

And I have to agree that hand-coding (x)html is therapeutic. *nod*
Re: Getting lost, I love that too. But I panic when I’ve tried to be un-lost and do not succeed immediately. ^^;
