My body feels so heavy. I’ve only slept for 3 hours this morning. I’m tired but I can’t rest yet. Must stay awake.

I don’t have work tonight, nor would I have work until the year ends. But I will be staying awake tonight.

So much to do, so little time. Procrastination is my enemy.

I never knew reading the news can be so entertaining.

Half an hour earlier, Grace Santos, who had formed the group “Supporters of Daniel Smith,” arrived and asked a jail guard to give the soldier the food she had brought.

“There are many who support him. Some have sent him teddy bears, food, chocolates, even a box of macadamia nuts. They are mostly women, some are gay … They think of him as a movie star,” said Santos, 34, who is married to a US Navy man.
