Dreams of nerd

I had the nerdiest dream last night: I took a math exam and I got a PERFECT SCORE.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Net working

My sister once told me that she prefer to hang out with older people over people her own age. Her reasoning was that she can learn more from older people than people her own age since they’re just bound to end up gossiping. (I know I’ve blogged about this countless times before. Oh well, time for another round.)

Today, I met up with one of her friends, to hand over some documents my sister sent for him and to catch up on each other’s lives.

I met this person 11 years ago in Jakarta, where my sister used to live. Our next encounter was two years ago, when he took me in as an editorial assistant for a travel magazine. My job didn’t last long, but we stayed in touch. For which I am glad.

This person shares my passion for travel. I told him of my plans for this year, and my goals in the next five years. He encouraged me and offered countless advise.

He, on the otherhand, shared with me his plans for another travel magazine and website. In turn, I offered my insight and whatever I know in the current travel trend in the country.

He has the experience of travel and the trade. I have strong interest in technology and zest for discovering new things.

If all goes well, 2006 will indeed be a GREAT year for travel.

Blog is back

A fact that should be painfully clear as you’ve already accessed the site and is reading this.

There’s probably some kinks that I’ve overlooked; feel free to point them out. Oh, the fork.nu domain isn’t working yet, so it’s back to http://nina.hey.nu/transit.

I’m also working on a new project, which I’m hoping to launch on the 2nd week of May. I just need to muster up some creativity and enough motivation to actually start working on it.

So, how’s YOUR life?
